Our group uses a large amount of software to design, simulate, and operate robots.
The following pages list the specific software we use / have available, and tips and instructions on how to use it.

3D Design: 3D models of robots, sensors, etc, but cannot handle as much complexity as 2D design.
IC Design: specifically for designing integrated circuits (ICs). Circuit specification, 2D layout, and electrical simulation.
PCB Design: specifically for designing printed circuit boards (PCBs). Circuit specification and (usually) 2D layout.
Rendering: photorealistic computer-generated images of 3D designs.
Simulation: computer simulation of electrical, mechanical, thermal, or other systems.
